NEB Media Releases 2019 Class Player Rankings for the State of Tennessee
After releasing the 2020 rankings last Thursday, NEB Media releases the 2019 rankings for the state of Tennessee today.
Jayla Hemingway heads the top of the list for the 2019 rankings. The strong and physical guard had a big summer on the EYBL circuit and that has transitioned over into the early part of the high school season. Hemingway is also joined by high school teammate, Madison Griggs, in the top 5. Griggs is one of the top shooters in the state, but also has the athletic ability to score at the basket.
Lanetta Williams comes in at the 2 spot. The southpaw, Williams, is the top post player in the state in the class and still has yet to scratch the surface of her potential.
Aislynn Hayes, the second of the four Hayes' sisters, comes in at number 3 in the rankings. Hayes also had a huge summer on the circuit and is expected to run the point guard position this year for the defending state champs, Riverdale High School.
The 2019 class is a very talented group statewide. We will update these rankings once again later in the season.
NEB Media will release the rankings for the class of 2018 on Wednesday, November 23rd.
